The only oil I buy for my Yamaha R1

I use this oil in my 2012 R1 race bike. Been using it for a couple years with zero issues.

This is all I will ever run in our dirt bikes

I use the in our race bikes. Our clutches do not wear like others I know of. It is the best clutch oil I have ever used.

It's really good stuff.

If your on the fence about using synthetics in a wet clutch motorcycle, no need to worry. I purchased a new goldwing 1800 in 2001 and started running Amsoil at the first oil change. After putting 100,000+ miles on this bike, the clutch was just as sound as the day I rode off from the dealership. No slipping, chatter, sticking or any clutch related issues at all. I sold that bike a couple of years ago and it continues life today as a trike with the same clutch that came from the factory. Now belongs to a coworker and has a tad over 140,000 on it. I now have a 2014 gl1800 using Amsoil as well. I found it to help with less overall engine noise, paticurly the high pitch whine common to the 1800. Shifts were smoother and less clunky. Mileage may have improved a bit but hard to tell with the way I ride. I may be pushing 60 but I still have a very flexible right wrist. Didn't have to ponder about what oil to use. I'm sold on Amsoil and until something better comes along that's where I will be. No worries and no regrets.

Great motorcycle oil!

Best motorcycle oil ever with a side effect of better gas mileage on my bikes than any other Goldwing using any other oil. Only problem last order I ordered 10W- 40 Synthetic and got 10W-30. But no problem used it anyway. Keep up the great work.

Excellent product.

Have been using this product for years in my motorcycles. One has over 100,000 miles and still runs like new. Thanks AMSOIL!

use it in all my vehicles

purchased the metric motor oil for a used motorcycle I just purchased. I use Amsoil products (and have for a long time) in my truck, car and wife's car (all with over 100,000 miles). Recommended it to a friend with a high mileage truck a number of years ago. He saw improved mileage immediately and now is approaching 350,000 miles.

One tough oil

Let me first say that I have tried most of the other brands of synthetic motorcycle oils that come in various colors (red, green, purple) and none of them hold up like Amsoil. I commute daily on a Kawasaki ZX-14R, big motor, big power, tight package lots of heat. Everything else broke down within a few hundred miles ( the pretty colors of the oil soon turned into black goop) but Amsoil still look new after the first thousand miles !! Nothing but Amsoil goes in now.

Amsoil and Goldwings

I run a Goldwing service shop, Only oil used here is the Amsoil 10w40, run the oil in a steady 30-40 wings and have nothing but praise, smooth clutch feel, very good shifting cold or hot, no lifter noise even on bikes upwards to 300 k, would not use any other brand, have tried them all, in shop records have over a million miles to back this up, On line ordering has been flawless and very simple.

Seems like a good product

I am a 1st-time amsoil buyer. I've been putting it in my 2014 ZX10R Ninja since I bought it in April of 2015. Coincidentally, it is the same weight recommended for a YZ250 2-stroke I bought this year (crank case). I am not a scientist and I don't have any rebuild stories to offer. When I bought my 2 motorcycles I wanted to take good care of them and the commo. department store oils just seemed inadequate. An Internet search revealed a strong following for amsoil so I gave it a try. Time will tell, but so far so good I guess.

Clean-running oil

I've been running this on my '12 Triumph XC 800. That's a bike that puts out a lot of heat and goes for long periods of time between service. This oil stays cleaner and smoother than many of the other brands I've used. Highly recommend.

Best oil money can buy

I have run this oil in 2 Yamaha sport bikes from the time I bought them new from the dealer (after initial break in) until their first valve adjustments at 40,000 kms. Let me start by saying not only have the bikes performed exceptionally with a lot of hot in town riding, but the engine internals look new as if they rolled off the assembly line with literally NO sludge. Even valve wear on both bikes. Switch over if you haven't done so already.

Switching from Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic

The Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic is a lot more viscous than the AMSOIL. In terms of performance, I have found any oil change be it a car, motorcycle, boat whatever etc always feels like it has a better "Get up and Go" after an oil change. The main reason I switched to the AMSOIL full synthetic is that full synthetic SHOULDN'T break down as quickly as a semi or conventional oil. THIS is where the extra $$$ for the AMSOIL should come into play. That being said it is hard to know when the breakdown period is with any oil, and the trick (in my eye) is to keep on top of regular oil changes in order to prevent breakdown from happening. After 3000kms the oil that I drained out of the CBR yesterday still looked not to bad and smelt okay. I think the bike runs a touch smoother with the AMSOIL because of the viscosity, it's that much thinner of an oil, and the bike seems to idle lower and run more freely than with the Motul Semi Syn.

I have always heard good things about this product along with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic & Royal Purple...

The customer service and location of you guys makes this a smart choice!

Thanks for making the switch so easy, see you in another 3000kms.

Using AMSOIL 10W-40 motorcycle oil in my 1985 Honda Goldwing

I am very impressed from the first few kms to now. The response of the engine has greatly improved with this oil change. I don't think the bike has run this good in quite a while. I'll be definitely calling again to arrange more purchases of oil for this one.
