AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil (MCF) is a premium oil designed for those who demand the absolute best lubrication for their motorcycles. AMSOIL MCF is the result of extensive research, and it is specially formulated to excel in all areas unique to motorcycles, including high engine RPM, wet clutch lubrication, extreme pressure regions of gears and rust common to short drives and storage.
Whether riding aggressively, cruising or in stop-and-go traffic, AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil delivers the benefits most important to riders, including premium wear protection; smooth, confident shifts and cool, clean performance. With AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil, riders enjoy the confidence and security that comes with providing their bikes maximum protection and performance. It is Warranty Secure™ and will not void your motorcycle's warranty.
AMSOIL MCF is multi-functional and fulfills the requirements of both domestic and foreign motorcycles. It outperforms other conventional and synthetic motorcycle oils.
AMSOIL, the leader in synthetic lubrication, produced the world's first API qualified synthetic motor oil in 1972. Trust the extensive experience of AMSOIL The First in Synthetics® to do the best job protecting your motorcycle.
In high heat conditions, AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil exceeds the standard for high-temperature film strength to deliver excellent wear protection. It keeps engines running cool by effectively reducing friction and heat, and it contains a heavy treatment of anti-wear additives to reduce wear regardless of operating conditions. AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil is thermally (heat) stable and contains maximum levels of oxidation-inhibitor additives. It is extremely resistant to volatility and is engineered to prevent damaging sludge and carbon deposits for superior engine cleanliness.
• Premium wear protection
• Smooth, confident shifts
• Cool, clean performance
Smooth, Confident Shifts
AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil contains no friction modifiers and promotes smooth shifting and positive clutch engagement. It is engineered to control heat and prevent slippage and glazing, promoting longer clutch life.
Controls Foam
High-rpm operation causes some motor oils to foam. When foam bubbles travel between gear teeth or engine components, they collapse, allowing metal surfaces to contact, causing wear. AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil contains advanced anti-foam additives that help prevent foam, allowing riders to confidently push their bikes to the limit.
With AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil, there is no need for separate transmission lubricants. It is absolutely shear stable and will not thin out from mechanical activity. AMSOIL MCF performs like a gear lube without the negative effects of extreme pressure additives. In the FZG gear test, AMSOIL MCF achieved a perfect score with a zero wear rating (see photo below).
Motorcycles are prone to rust from storage, humidity and short drives. Rust can cause major damage, such as uncontrolled wear, compression loss and blow-by. Good rust protection, however, comes by design and is not natural to motor oils. Unlike many motorcycle oils, AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil contains special anti-rust agents that deliver superior rust protection. With its high 11.1 total base number (TBN), AMSOIL Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil provides greater protection from acid corrosion and helps maintain internal engine cleanliness.
AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-40 Motorcycle Oil contains no friction modifiers and promotes smooth shifting and positive clutch engagement. AMSOIL MCF controls heat and prevents slippage and glazing, helping improve clutch life. AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-40 Motorcycle Oil meets the wet clutch frictional requirements of JASO Standard T903: 2006, MA/MA2 and ISO-L-EMA2 of ISO Standard 24254:2007.
AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-40 Motorcycle Oil is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils;
however, mixing oils may shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.
Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motorcycle oil.
Recommended for use up to twice the motorcycle manufacturer-recommended change interval (miles/hours) or one year, whichever comes first, in engines and transmissions.
When using an oil filter other than AMSOIL Ea® Motorcycle Oil Filter, change the filter at standard intervals. Racing or modified engines are excluded from extended drain interval recommendations; oil changes are at the owner's discretion.
This product is not expected to cause health concerns when used for the intended application and according to the recommendations in the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).

This is a common problem with any oil, and it only ads 2 chain lubrication with an oily back rim. The problem I have been having is with the 650 Seca II clutch cover gasket they cant stop ANSOIL from seeping out after time.

After two years of driving That Lincoln i tried Amsoil and 5 seconds after startup... that tick went away. Plus mileage went up a few points.
Fast forward to my first oil change on my 2013 Honda F6B motorcycle. Bought it used like most of my vehicles and I was getting around 34-36 mpg. I bought the Amsoil for Metric Bikes 10-40. I personally run AMSOIL 10W-40 Synthetic Metric Motorcycle Oil through my road bike for the street and race bike at the track. I swap it out every time I make a filter change (just out of habit), but it always looks as clear as when I first put it in.
When racing, I'm always on the throttle and make very hard downshifts (probably worse than I should). I have yet to see this oil deteriorate on me, even when stressing a motor very hard. I couldn't be happier with its performance so far this race season.
I recommend AMSOIL products to everyone I come across, whether on the street or at the track. As long as they continue to make high quality products, I will continue to do so moving forward.

If your on the fence about using synthetics in a wet clutch motorcycle, no need to worry. I purchased a new goldwing 1800 in 2001 and started running Amsoil at the first oil change. After putting 100,000+ miles on this bike, the clutch was just as sound as the day I rode off from the dealership. No slipping, chatter, sticking or any clutch related issues at all. I sold that bike a couple of years ago and it continues life today as a trike with the same clutch that came from the factory. Now belongs to a coworker and has a tad over 140,000 on it. I now have a 2014 gl1800 using Amsoil as well. I found it to help with less overall engine noise, paticurly the high pitch whine common to the 1800. Shifts were smoother and less clunky. Mileage may have improved a bit but hard to tell with the way I ride. I may be pushing 60 but I still have a very flexible right wrist. Didn't have to ponder about what oil to use. I'm sold on Amsoil and until something better comes along that's where I will be. No worries and no regrets.

The Motul 5100 Semi Synthetic is a lot more viscous than the AMSOIL. In terms of performance, I have found any oil change be it a car, motorcycle, boat whatever etc always feels like it has a better "Get up and Go" after an oil change. The main reason I switched to the AMSOIL full synthetic is that full synthetic SHOULDN'T break down as quickly as a semi or conventional oil. THIS is where the extra $$$ for the AMSOIL should come into play. That being said it is hard to know when the breakdown period is with any oil, and the trick (in my eye) is to keep on top of regular oil changes in order to prevent breakdown from happening. After 3000kms the oil that I drained out of the CBR yesterday still looked not to bad and smelt okay. I think the bike runs a touch smoother with the AMSOIL because of the viscosity, it's that much thinner of an oil, and the bike seems to idle lower and run more freely than with the Motul Semi Syn.
I have always heard good things about this product along with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic & Royal Purple...
The customer service and location of you guys makes this a smart choice!
